For over 30 years, they have offered the finest hand-crafted, premium quality hors d'oeuvres and cold canapés. The company was founded in 1967 when George King (a chef) and Pat Domanik (a caterer) began creating fresh hors d'oeuvres for local Chicago hotels. As the demand increased, they began offering their products frozen, which allowed them to increase their scope of distribution and provide timely response to their customers' needs. Appetizers And, Inc. now has distribution across the country and a direct sales force serving every major U.S. city. Their freezing process is state-of-the-art and the packaging is innovative and designed for maximum customer convenience. Items are packaged in 25 piece trays and 100 count cases to match the typical menu, which is written in multiples of 100 pieces.  Customer safety is a key concern. Appetizers And, Inc.'s USDA-inspected and HACCP-certified facility utilizes a sophisticated quality control process which is further supported by independent laboratories. After more than 30 years Appetizers And, Inc. is still owner-operated. Each hors d'oeuvre and cold canapé is an extension of George and Pat's hand-crafting, just as in the beginning. Both Appetizers And, Inc. and Testa work to ensure that only the best comes out of our customers' kitchens. To that end, we guarantee that the product is as wholesome as one "made-on-premise."
